To the car haulers, the freight truckers, the hotshot transporters…
To the dispatchers, the carriers, the brokers and the shippers…
We all work hard in this industry of transport and we try to do the best we can to serve the transportation customers.
This live video marks my 1-year Auto Transport Intel YouTube channel anniversary. On July 2nd 2018, my YouTube channel views crossed my 1 million YouTube watch minutes milestone. That’s a big deal to me and I want thank you for helping to make that happen.
My first Car Hauling Dispatcher video upload was in June 2017. At that time, the purpose of this channel was to simply share my dispatching secrets. However, (quickly) my content (and audience) which grew into talking with carriers, discussing car hauling software and technology, which soon followed to interviewing brokers, and then onto dealers, shippers and car shipping customers. This diversity of topics and network of contacts throughout the ecosystem is something I’m very proud to not only be a part of, but in helping to bring together for you I believe is something we’ve been needing for a very long time.
Through my origins of working with so many car haulers and dispatching for years and negotiating with hundreds of brokers plus interacting with so many individual customers for pick up and delivery, I believe I know what it takes to help communicate and share the information throughout this industry. By sending me your personal messages, emails and interesting comments and stories, you help me paint the full panarama about shipping, transportation and logistics.
“It must be here Saturday!”
And yet, everyone still wants to know why customers get so unreasonable about their shipping time frames. And so therein lies my real goal for this YouTube channel. The hope that I can help educate the car shipping customers about how the transport industry really works – because we all need to understand each other and be more realistic so we can focus on business and actual customer service. As has been said, “poor planning on your part does not constitute and emergency on mine.” Constant phone calls, rude assumptions and totally unrealistic expectations will continually haunt this industry if we don’t set the record straight.
There are other great YouTubers out there with great content and are real contributors to this ecosystem and the future of transport contains company names we may not be very familar with, such as: other companies like Uber, Amazon, Google and Tesla may become much more common.
I’m using Streamlabs OBS live streaming mobile app at Miramonte Winery in Temecula, CA where they make excellent wines and beautiful scenery. I’m enjoying a Rose to celebrate 1 million minutes and overlooking the view of the winery. Even thought I had technical problems with 1st 2 streams on the location wifi network (possible due to distance from the router) but the third try with a private mobile hotspot was the charm. the staff was very friendly and open to my recording and none of the other patrons seemed to really mind. but that’s another thing I like about California. Sometimes anything goes…
