Mammoth Lakes Travel Guide 2020 + Epic Road Trip // Join our adventure as we take HWY 395 to Mammoth Lakes in California.

Here’s a rundown of our highway 395 road trip and Mammoth Lakes California itinerary 2020 summer edition:

DAY 1 (HWY 395 Road Trip from Southern CA): We took Whitney Portal Road to the Mobius Arch Loop near Lone Pine, stopped at Copper Top BBQ in Big Pine, and ended at Mammoth Brew Co.

DAY 2 (Mammoth Hot Springs + Mono Lake): We visited Wild Willy’s Hot Springs, the Hot Creek Geological Site, Pulky Pool Hot Spring, and ended the day with a sunset at Mono Lake.

DAY 3 (Mammoth Lakes): We hiked to Crystal Lake for stunning lake views and visited Lake Mary for more relaxation.

Day 4 (Mammoth Waterfalls): We took the Rainbow Falls Trailhead to Rainbow Falls and Lower Falls – an epic day of waterfall chasing.
