Cinepolis Luxury Cinemas, located in the Del Mar Highlands Shopping Center in Carmel Valley, has completely transformed the movie going experience, taking everything great about going to the movies and adding a sense of luxury and comfort. Since opening in July 2011, Cinepolis has made date nights a whole lot easier for Carmel Valley residents, providing a one-stop shop for a full night out experience. No longer do San Diego residents have to go out to eat dinner beforehand, barely tasting their food because they are in a hurry to make the movie on time. Residents can instead head on over to Cinepolis Luxury Cinemas and enjoy all of the luxurious amenities it has to offer.
Upon entering the cinema, guests find themselves in the exclusive main lobby, where they can choose to sit in the plush seating and talk with friends, watch sporting events on any of the numerous televisions, or grab a cocktail or beverage of their choice at the bar. For those guests who choose to enter the theater early, they can enjoy wait service at the touch of a button in the luxury of their plush leather reclining seats that come complete with a footrest. Guests can choose from a wide variety of food found on the full menu, ranging from traditional movie favorites like popcorn and soft drinks or they can splurge on gourmet finger foods, milkshakes and specialty coffee drinks. There is surely something on the menu for everyone’s taste buds!!!
What makes Cinepolis a true luxury cinema, besides the reclining seats and amazing environment, is the fact that guests can enjoy the movie experience in a small private setting, without the sticky floors and cramped seating found at most movie theaters. Each Cinepolis theater seats around 60 to 70 guests, compared to 200 to 250 seats found in most theaters, and provides ample space between seats. In addition, each auditorium is equipped with state of the art sound and projection technology. In fact, Cinepolis Luxury Cinemas was the first theater with 100% digital projection and sound, leaving movies looking and sounding their absolute best!!!
