Darkened skies will be ablaze with color and light at the Pomona Fairgrounds during this incredible evening of ancient luminary wonders. Larger-than-life lanterns including giant cheetahs, jumping koi fish and majestic cranes are staged as a global safari, giving you an opportunity to walk through different “continents” and even back in time to the era of dinosaurs. Each lantern is handcrafted by masters from Zigong, China, the center of the country’s lantern heritage, using a tradition that extends back centuries. The festival also hosts Chinese folk artists demonstrating their ancient crafts, live Kung Fu & Chinese Martial Arts Performances, a variety of Asian cuisine, and more!
