DETAILS:
A fire of unknown cause broke out deep inside a canyon.
Firefighters had difficulty in reaching the fire and the fire increased in size.
A firefighting helicopter was brought in and firefighters were finally able to reach the fire from the streets above. MAST Investigators are here.
There is a second-hand report of a gardener hearing an explosion and then the fire began.
