INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 8-31-18 12:50 pm and Crash at 1:15 pm
LOCATION: West St. and Logan (shooting) & 39th and Logan Ave (crash)

DETAILS:
The BMW with 3 teenagers was speeding westbound on Logan Ave when they ran a “STOP” sign and hit an SUV full of 3 kids and one adult.
Extrications had to be done and all 4 were transported to UCSD. Police believe the 2 incidents may not be related. The person being detained is 16 and came back to the scene of the crash stating he was a passenger and did not want to get in more trouble. He was eventually released.
