The female driver told the officers that her vision got blurry as she was headed northbound on 65th St. The driver then hit 2 parked cars before rolling over her own vehicle. The driver had 2 small children inside of her vehicle.
Good Samaritans were able to pull the children out of the wreckage, but the driver remained trapped. Firefighters were able to extricate the female, and she was transported to a local hospital for her injuries. Officers and Firefighters took care of the children as they were badly shaken but not hurt. The accident happened in front of the Encanto Rec Center.
