The California Gubernatorial Forum Hosted by the California Council for the Social Studies was held on Sunday, March 25. It features leading gubernatorial candidates who will be competing for the seat of Governor of California. Matthew Hall, Editorial and Opinion Page Director of The San Diego Union-Tribune, will moderate the forum. Candidates in attendance include:

· Travis Allen (Republican) Member, California State Assembly
· John Cox (Republican) Business Executive
· Delaine Eastin (Democrat) Former State Superintendent of Public Instruction
· Antonio Villaraigosa (Democrat) Former Mayor, City of Los Angeles
