Our first impression of San Diego was horrible.
It was our worst travel experience so far, including the time Cal got sick in Northern Thailand and almost died. But in saying that, San Diego is not one of the worst places to visit, even though we never left our hotel room during the few days we were there, purely because of these few things that happened in the first few hours of us arriving.
What happened, you ask? We explain in this video.

We’re an Australian married couple who travel the world and vlog our experiences as we go. Cal is an amateur stand-up comedian and musician, turned film-maker, but let’s be honest: he sells holidays as a day job (nobody likes salespeople). Emily is a travel-obsessed girl who plans on ticking off every country in her lifetime (so far, so good).
